Sales/Marketing Internship Position Overview
As a Gibens Creative Group Intern, you will have the opportunity to market and sell a variety of advertising / design services in addition to working on projects that are currently active. While a majority of our work is web-oriented, there will be opportunities for work within the areas of identity/branding, and pre-press print production as well.
Tasks you can expect to handle may include: editing and drafting promotional material such as press releases, brochures, marketing collateral; assisting with development of market strategies; researching specific target markets; coordinating advertising efforts and budget; collecting/preparing/organizing content for client projects; compiling leads; attending client sales meetings and civic/professional meetings; creating quotes for potential clients, as well as other daily office responsibilities.
This internship offers a flexible schedule with an eight-hour a week minimum commitment. The position is not paid, but will offer a stipend for travel. As well, we are happy to work with any academic requirements the intern may have to help them earn college credit for their efforts. Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Business Administration and other related majors are encouraged to apply along with recent graduates.

Requirements
Essential:

- Excellent Writing Ability
- Must be Internet/Computer Literate
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications: Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint
- Able to Work Independently and Pro Actively, a Self Starter
- Professional, Responsible Demeanor
Helpful:
- Photoshop Experience, amending and resizing images
- Understanding of graphic design, pre-press print production, and/or website development
