Patrice Anderson graduated in 1997 from Mississippi State University where she earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree with an emphasis in Multimedia. Immediately upon graduating, she was hired by Peavey Electronics Corporation to spearhead their multimedia training department. While at Peavey, she later transitioned to their web department to develop interactive web applications for their website utilizing Flash and ColdFusion. In 1999, Patrice, along with fellow Peavey co-worker, Daryl Fazio, started Mudpie Media, LLC as a part-time venture after completing a multimedia project for the East Mississippi Business Development Corporation (EMBDC), which helped Meridian, MS win the bid for their Southern Arts and Entertainment Center.
After almost four years with Peavey Electronics, Patrice left the company to concentrate on running her own website design firm out of Columbus, MS, her hometown. Patrice later moved to Tupelo, MS and joined RedMagnet, Inc. as their web developer in 2004 and has been a key player in expanding their web department into the full-service creative agency, Gibens Creative Group in 2007.
During her career, Patrice has had the honor to be the guest speaker at the National Educational Computing Conference (NECC), Ninth Annual International Conference on Telecommunications and Hypermedia (Tel*ED), and Mississippi State University Department of Technology and Education. She has also taught classes for Mississippi State University Division of Continuing Education and was a guest instructor for the Department of Art at Mississippi University for Women.
