Cass Phipps recently moved back to his hometown of Tupelo, Mississippi, after spending several years as a web and graphic designer in Columbus, OH. He holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Mississippi in Psychology, with a minor in Art, which he received in 2000.
Upon graduating from Ole Miss, Cass spent two years in Chicago, Illinois, where he managed a local restaurant. He then moved home to Tupelo to manage IV's Restaurant.
After one year at IV's, Cass enrolled at The Portfolio Center in Atlanta, Georgia, where he received his Certificate of Design in 2006. After graduating from The Portfolio Center, Cass did freelance work until he accepted a web design position with Abercrombie and Fitch in Columbus, Ohio.
At Abercrombie, Cass worked on brands, including, Abercrombie and Fitch, Abercrombie Kids, Hollister, Ruehl, and Gilly Hicks. Cass designed, updated and maintained websites, designed emails, edited lifestyle marketing photography and products for their e-commerce site.
Cass is incredibly influenced by art, film, music, and literature, as he is a painter, photographer, and musician. These influences are evident both in his personality, as well as his profession as a designer.
